The club was established in 1986. This club operates under an official constitution.
We hold monthly fishing events, many of which are away camping or within driving distance for a day trip. We cater for all types of fishing enthusiasts.
We fish fresh water, salt water, boat and land based so everyone has an equal opportunity.

Each comp ends in a weigh in and
BBQ catered for by the
club social committee.
We hold barefoot bowls nights, Christmas in July, dinners, camps and a Christmas function.
There is a popular raffle at the end of each event, which provides great prizes, ranging from Fishing gear to wine, hampers and more.
The club meeting is held Monthly usually the 1st Thursday of every month after the comp.
Funny stories (NAFAS) are shared during the club meeting.
The fish caught are weighed, measured and recorded at the end of every comp.
Some of our Club members hold many species records.

We participate in Fishcare projects including releasing fish into the local lakes and waterways this usually takes place a couple of weeks before the school holidays.
Fishing for the disabled is held annually in conjunction with Moorable Services & Special needs Groups within the community.

This has become very popular as all equipment and bait is provided as well as a sausage sizzle.
The looks on the participants faces speaks volumes.
Special events- Dinners/lunches with guest speakers, catering to fishing for Women is held annually.
We participate in Council and Club run fishing days for the children's school holiday program.
Once again equipment and BBQ is provided by our Club.
Preservation and development of fishing sites in the area.
Information days at various schools are a wonderful opportunity to give first hand information to children
of all ages.
Even though many of our members
are accomplished, we cater for all levels of fishing capabilities from beginner to advanced.
We all have a go and try to catch that elusive BIG ONE.
